Get to know Dr. Abby Williams

Dr. Williams knew from an early age that she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, though dentistry did not top that list until well into her college years. Physical therapy and medical school were previous career goals, but neither route felt just right. Being home during a spring break, she was able to shadow her dentist and her excitement about dentistry began. She even began working as a dental assistant for a little time before beginning dental school, which helped her be certain she was following the right path!
Dr. Williams’ Dental Background
After studying at Texas Tech University, Dr. Williams completed 4 years of dental school at UT Houston School of Dentistry. She went on to practice in Paris, TX for some time, followed by practicing nearby in Baytown, TX. Dr. Williams has been practicing for nearly a decade and is excited to be opening her own practice to help her patients in the best way she knows how.
Dr. Williams knows that her education did not stop at the point of graduating from dental school and firmly believes in the importance of always furthering her education to keep up with the constantly evolving world of dentistry.
In addition to continuing education, Dr. Williams is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
During her time away from the office, Dr. Williams enjoys spending as much of it as possible with her family. She met her husband, Brantley while living in Paris, TX while they were both working in the area. They have two beautiful girls, Brooklyn and Cameron who keep their lives full of love, laughter and a little chaos!
Together, the Williams love spending time outdoors, especially on the boat, whether it’s cruising or fishing.
